The Story
At the edge of a great forest, one village holds stubbornly firm, a village that has never been conquered. The smoke of roasting boar drifts over the thatched roofs and laughter rings out over the palisade, for these people know no fear, only hunger, a good joke, and a secret brew that makes them invincible. But this morning three legions stand at the edge of the woods, and their trumpets are already blaring.
The general has had enough of the humiliation. This one little village makes a mockery of his entire campaign of conquest, and today he means to raze it to the ground, whatever it costs. His tents stretch to the horizon, his battering rams stand ready, and his patience has run dry to the very last drop.
You shore up the rickety palisade, hatch a mad scheme with the village blacksmith, sabotage the army camps with cunning and daring, and perhaps drink a little too much of the secret brew that surges through the veins like liquid courage. This is a merry, heroic adventure about the underdog who wins not with numbers but with nerve, cheek, and a good story.
When Warlord Grootmarcus himself charges into the attack, in gleaming chainmail and boiling with rage, everything hinges on one last reckless stunt. Will you send Grootmarcus and his legions running and defend the last free village, or will the feast end with the blacksmith in the soup pots? And above all: will you dream up a tale worthy of tonight's banquet?
